Meet Envision VA Home: A Team Built for Growth
Magali Pattison, Director of Operations of Envision VA Home in Hampton Roads, Virginia, knew what it meant to build from a solid foundation. Together with Team Leader Mike Pattison, they prioritised production, built a tight-knit culture, and were ready to grow. But they faced one big obstacle: how do you grow without sacrificing the quality and clarity of training?

Let’s break down their journey.
Before: Manual, Repetitive, and Unscalable
Before implementing the new training model, Magali and her team had:
- A self-built university with good material and intentions—but no automation
- Repetitive manual tasks and little onboarding structure
- No layered or milestone-based development
- A vision for growth, but no scalable systems to support it
A Turning Point: Why Performance-Based Training Works
- Clear milestones created intentional practice
- Structured weekly schedules gave leadership back their mental bandwidth
- Automations eliminated constant admin oversight
- Plug-and-play templates made implementation fast and efficient
The plug and play—being able to copy and paste and literally just change out and put our name in it and tweak a little bit is honestly probably the only reason I’m able to do it.
After: Increased Effort, Measurable Skill, and Real Progress
- Agents are showing more initiative and ownership over their progress
- The team can scale training without sacrificing quality
- Magali can lead group coaching—not just one-on-one sessions—with consistency
With performance-based, we have our agents really going in and you can see that they are putting even more effort. There’s a lot of practice, and we’re seeing the skill set as much further ahead in a much shorter window.
It's just been phenomenal. I know it's so cliche to say it's just the beginning, but it really truly is. It keeps snowballing.
Leadership Lift: Building While Scaling
Like many team leaders, Magali was concerned about capacity—how could she build, lead, and grow without burning out? Implementing the system brought unexpected relief:
- Training is now driven by structure, not memory
- Coaching is now group-based and scalable
- Onboarding is repeatable, automated, and clear
- Admin support is optimised—not overwhelmed
A Worthwhile Investment
The cost was very much a mental hurdle for a second. Looking back, it's going to be like, why was that even a thought? It's such a drop compared to what we're going to get from it.
